Built from portraiture, collage and real fast-food packaging, the works surround their subjects with some of the most recognizable symbols of contemporary consumer culture. Wrappers, boxes, logos and advertising fragments move from disposable packaging into the image itself — turning objects designed to last for minutes into part of something intended to remain.

Fast food becomes more than food. Its visual language carries memories, rituals, cravings and ideas of comfort, convenience and belonging. The brands are instantly recognizable because they have become part of a shared cultural vocabulary — contemporary symbols understood across borders and generations.

By placing them alongside individual portraits, the series asks where the person ends and the culture surrounding them begins. How much of what we desire is genuinely ours? How much of our identity is assembled from the products, images and brands we repeatedly consume?

The works neither celebrate nor condemn this relationship. They embrace its seduction, absurdity and familiarity.

Because sometimes the things we consume end up consuming a little piece of us.
